Every day needs prayers and blessings, and it is no different for Friday prayer blessings!

While some of us regard this as the best day of the week, for others it can be hard for multiple reasons.

No matter if you love Friday or aren’t a fan, it is a day that the Lord has made, so we can rejoice and be glad in it! (Psalm 118:24)

We made a list of different Friday blessings and Friday prayers that you can either hold onto to remember God’s goodness or pass on to people that you feel may benefit from these.

As always, we separate them into categories (see the table of contents below) so that you can easily find the ones that best apply to the type of blessing you are looking for.

Friday Prayer Blessings About the Goodness of Our God

While a lot of these may work for daily prayers, we tried to make them Friday-focused. You can use these for yourself, or send them to family members or friends.

Our God is the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright morning star! (From Revelation 22:16)

While others claim today as the best day of the week, we walk knowing that every day is the best day because God gives us new mercies daily. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

We know it is a blessing-filled day because it is a day you created, O Lord!

You are the Lord my God who takes hold of my right hand and says to me, “Do not fear, I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13)

May our praises be as big as our blessings this Friday.

Your Word tells us that You are good to all, and that your tender mercies are all over Your works. (Psalm 145:9) Remind me of your goodness this Friday, Amen.

God is merciful and gracious and is abounding in goodness and truth. (Exodus 34:6) May all of those characteristics of God be clear to me this Friday so I may focus on God and all His goodness.

I walk into Friday knowing that God is good and on my side, and I can have peace with whatever the world brings at me today.

Friday Blessings About Walking in Righteousness

Many times we find ourselves looking for blessings before positioning personal holiness, or aiming to walk in the righteousness that we know our Heavenly Father gave us.

Because I need to remind myself of this often, I thought I may not be alone. Oh, how fast I am to ask for blessings! And it is GREAT to ask God for blessings any day of the week, but it is also great to mix in blessings and prayers about walking right with God.

All I ask for this Friday prayer is for God to guide me to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with my God. (Micah 6:8)

May the Holy Spirit guide your every move this Friday, no matter how big or how small!

Happy Friday! May our heavenly Father keep you on the right path today and each day of your life. Amen.

As we pray for God’s blessings, we also know that only good things come from God. This Friday is a blessed Friday because it’s a day that God made!
